Notes on battery disposal

Batteries and accumulators must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
This results in certain legal obligations not only for us as a dealer but also for you as a customer, which we would like to point out to you.

As end user you are legally obliged to return used batteries. At the same time, we as traders have the obligation to take back the batteries and accumulators sold by us free of charge.
Used batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range can be returned directly to our dispatch warehouse (dispatch address). Apart from the shipping costs for the return, there are no further costs for the disposal of the batteries.

Notes on disposal

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.

Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead

Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium

Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury

Please pay attention to these notes.
